P4 and P5 have been travelling back in time this term, exploring the fascinating world of Ancient Egypt through hands‑on, activity‑based learning.
Outside, pupils worked together to build their own tombs, exploring how Egyptians designed their burial sites. Using LEGO, they created pyramids and learned about engineering in a creative way. In ICT, the children researched and produced fact files about Egyptian life. They also created beautifully designed cartouches in Art, writing their names in hieroglyphics.
It has been an exciting and engaging topic, full of creativity and discovery!
