Children's Mental Health Week 2026
Last week, our school proudly marked Children’s Mental Health Week with a special assembly centred around the theme “This Is My Place.”
We explored what it truly means to belong, understanding that everyone belongs exactly as they are. No one needs to change who they are to fit in. Each child brings their own unique qualities, strengths, talents and personality to our school community, and it is those differences that make our school such a special place.
During the assembly, children reflected on how we can help others feel welcome, valued and included. We talked about the importance of kindness, acceptance and celebrating individuality, ensuring that everyone feels seen and heard.
The children and staff also paired up to share something they liked or enjoyed, helping to build positive connections and strengthen our sense of community.
